Farm Management

There are more than 100 biodiesel refineries operating below capacity and more than 47 idle refineries in the United States, alone.”    Refineries and investors are seeking feedstock.  At this time, jatropha is the most promising non-food, feedstock for biodiesel.

Refiners and investors need to remain focused on core competencies.  Abundant Biofuels Farming Team will manage jatropha farming operations on behalf of refiners and investors.  The refiners and investors control the use of the jatropha oil or refined biodiesel.

The first step is to develop a Farming Plan.

After agreement, Abundant Biofuels will execute the Farming Plan by:

     1.   Hiring Labor- Interviewing and selecting management

personnel and labor force needed to execute the plan.

This includes any clerical and accounting staff needed for farm operations.  All

employees will be from the local labor market and local labor rates will apply.

                 a. Prepare the land for the orchards to be planted

                 b. Establish a nursery

                 c. Plant the tree varieties according to the planting map

     6.   Supervise the disposal of tree trimmings in an environmentally-friendly

           manner

     7.   Harvest / Post Harvest Management

     8.   Hire temporary farm help required to get the crop picked without waste or

           spoilage

     9.   Establish equipment needs and supplies required for harvest

     10. Systematically harvest orchards

     11. Establish a self-monitoring system for picker’s productivity

     12. Monitor yields and issue progress reports during the harvest to client

           plantation
