Mr. Zahid has
joined Abundant Biofuels Corporation, where he leverages his background in
cross-functional operations and financial planning combined with extensive
global management and deep analytics experience within a competitive
consumer products and services market.
Mr. Zahid’s
13+ years in global strategy and operations improvement roles include four
years at The Home Depot where he created the labor operations function
that directly resulted in large, sustained growth in retail store sales.
He also developed an entirely new procurement and capital investment
strategy process at Home Depot that is still used currently.
He also
worked internationally as strategy director for a major Middle East
conglomerate, where he led cross-border acquisitions of consumer finance
firms as well as process improvement for its manufacturing subsidiaries
and retail chains. As a consultant, he has assisted a publicly traded
Chinese food commodities maker with its expansion into the US market and
participated in a national trade facilitation strategy project for a
Middle East Government.
